    Avanti House Primary School is seeking a passionate and reflective Yoga Teacher to join our nurturing and forward-thinking team.

    This is a unique opportunity to support the physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing of our pupils through the transformative practice of yoga.

    At Avanti House, we place wellbeing at the heart of education, and your role will be central in helping children develop confidence, inner calm, and healthy habits that last a lifetime.

    You will design and deliver engaging yoga sessions tailored to pupils’ needs and abilities, while contributing positively to our wider school life and culture.

    What will you do?
    • Deliver high-quality, inclusive yoga sessions that support pupils’ wellbeing, personal growth, and physical development, tailored to individual needs and abilities.
    • Establish a safe and stimulating environment, manage classroom behavior, and promote student well-being.
    • Use assessment data to monitor student progress, set targets, and plan lessons.
    • Collaborate with colleagues, participate in professional development, and communicate effectively with parents and external bodies.
    • Promote and safeguard the welfare of students, ensuring compliance with school policies and protocols.

    • Qualified to bachelor’s degree level in relevant or allied subject 
    • QTS qualified
    • Able to self-start, work independently and collaboratively as part of a team- whether led or leading
