    What will you do?
    • Drive high pupil attainment and progress through rigorous target-setting, monitoring, and collaboration with staff and external agencies.
    •  Lead and model outstanding teaching, supporting the development of staff through performance management, professional development, and recruitment.
    •  Develop and sustain a creative, inclusive curriculum and learning environment that excites learners and promotes high standards of behaviour and engagement.
    •  Ensure effective leadership through accountability, policy development, budget management, and strategic planning in alignment with the school’s vision and values.
    •  Foster a safe, supportive, and aspirational school culture by prioritising safeguarding, community partnerships, and a clear commitment to the school’s ethos.

    • Qualified Teaching Status
    • Proven experience in a leadership role within a secodary school or similar educational context
    • Strong understanding of curriculum development, teaching methodologies, and assessment practices
    • Ability to inspire, motivate, and lead a diverse group of students and staff

Avanti Grange is Bishop’s Stortford’s newest secondary school. Our state-of-the-art campus serves families from Stortford, Stanstead, Farnham and many other neighbouring villages.
