    What will you do?
    • Maintain the school’s premises, grounds, and car park to a high standard of cleanliness, safety, and order, including ad-hoc cleaning, snow clearance, and waste management.
    •  Provide site security through unlocking and locking, alarm setting, patrolling, and acting as the first response for incidents and emergencies.
    •  Carry out general maintenance, handyperson tasks, and room setups for daily activities, open evenings, and special events
    •  Manage deliveries, stock, and contractors, ensuring safe handling of goods and adequate supplies for cleaning and facilities operations.
    • Support Health & Safety compliance, fire safety checks, and contribute to Trust-wide projects when required.

    What are we looking for?
    • Good communication skills; written and verbal.
    • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Numeracy and Literacy. 
    • General knowledge of building maintenance procedures and relevant skills
    • Understanding of Health and Safety and security issues.
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
    • Good organisational skills- ability to meet deadlines and make decisions in emergencies.
