  • Salary: Grade 5, £29,635 - £32,075 per annum, pro rata. Approximately £23,700 - £25,651 per annum (0. 0.84383 FTE). Term time + 2 weeks (39 weeks)

    We’re looking for a friendly, organised, and resourceful Admin Assistant to play a key role in keeping our school running smoothly. In this varied and rewarding role, you’ll be the welcoming face for visitors, the first point of contact for parents and carers, and a trusted source of support for our staff and leadership team.

    From coordinating events, managing key school systems, and keeping records up to date, to preparing important documents and helping to organise after-school activities, no two days will be the same. You’ll use your excellent communication skills and eye for detail to ensure everything runs like clockwork, while contributing to the warm, inclusive atmosphere our school is known for.

    What will you do?
    • Responsible for devising marketing and promotion strategies for the school including regular updates to the schools’ website.
    • Be responsible for planning, development, design, organisation and monitoring of support services and whole school systems/procedures/policies.
    • Develop and monitor management information systems.
    • Responsible for the provision of specialist advice and guidance to SLT/SSC on national and local guidelines/policy/statute within their own area of responsibility.

    What are we looking for?
    • Excellent level of literacy and numeracy skills.
    •  Demonstrable experience of developing and maintaining administrative systems and procedures.
    • Significant experience of working in a similar role within an educational setting.
    • Ability to plan and manage their own time effectively and work prioritising tasks in a time efficient manner and keep to deadlines in a very busy environment.
    • Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people
