    The role will be partly based in the Oasis class - our enhanced learning provision class of around 10 children. In Oasis, we aim to provide a supportive, nurturing environment where pupils can thrive both academically and socially.
     
    We are dedicated to offering a personalised approach to learning, meeting the unique needs of each individual, and fostering resilience, emotional well-being, and a love for learning. Through tailored academic support and specialised interventions for Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, we empower our pupils to reach their full potential, build confidence, and develop essential life skills.

    What will you do?
    • Plan and deliver high-quality teaching tailored to the needs, abilities, and prior knowledge of all pupils, ensuring progress and attainment.
    • Establish and maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging learning environment, promoting positive behaviour and pupils’ well-being.
    • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, governors, external agencies, and the Avanti Schools Trust to support pupils’ learning and development.
    • Assess, monitor, and provide feedback on pupils’ progress, using data to inform planning and improve outcomes.
    • Promote and safeguard the welfare of students, ensuring compliance with school policies and protocols.

About our School

Avanti Gardens is a primary school situated in Fishponds, Bristol. The school is housed in a beautiful campus, that was previously an all-through school, and before that part of Bristol University, which means it has many facilities that primary schools don’t, like a full-size auditorium and sports hall. “We’re really fortunate, even though we are in the middle of Bristol, there’s lot of outdoor areas that we can use.” - Mrs Rodgers, Inclusion Lead.

Avanti Gardens was graded “Good” in all areas in 2024. Our school is a non-faith, community school that embraces inclusion and diversity.
