  •  Avanti Fields School is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Class Teacher to join our growing primary phase.

    The role is likely to begin in EYFS or KS1, with opportunities to work across other key stages as the school expands, offering scope for professional growth while contributing to the development of our primary provision.

    This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a developing school community where strong relationships, mutual respect and high expectations are central to our ethos, and where you will play a key role in supporting every pupil to achieve their very best.

    What will you do?
    • Plan and deliver high-quality teaching that secures strong progress and attainment for all pupils, adapting learning to meet a wide range of needs.
    • Create a safe, respectful and stimulating classroom environment with high expectations of behaviour, conduct and achievement.
    • Use assessment effectively to monitor progress, provide constructive feedback and inform future planning.
    • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, the Avanti Schools Trust and external partners to support pupils’ learning and wellbeing.
    • Promote and safeguard the welfare of students, ensuring compliance with school policies and protocols.

    • Qualified to bachelor’s degree level in relevant or allied subject 
    • QTS qualified
    • Excellent organisational skills and ability to delegate

About our School

Avanti Fields School is an all-through, faith-designated (Hindu) state school which welcomed the first intake of Year 7 students in September 2018, and first intake of Nursery and Reception students in September 2022. The school is rapidly expanding and will grow year by year to a full cohort of 1,320. This is an exciting time to join the school as it continues its journey to outstanding.
