    This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated teacher to join a high-performing and supportive team. As a Class Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and ensuring that every child achieves their full potential. You will create engaging, inclusive lessons that build on pupils’ prior knowledge, adapt teaching to meet individual needs and use assessment effectively to drive progress. With a strong focus on both academic excellence and personal development, you will help foster a classroom environment where pupils feel safe, motivated and inspired to succeed.

    You will build positive relationships rooted in mutual respect and contribute to a culture where every child is valued as an individual. You will work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and the wider school to support pupil achievement and wellbeing, while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, safeguarding and conduct.

You will be reflective in your practice, confident in using data and assessment to inform teaching, and able to contribute positively to a team that is dedicated to excellence.     What will you do?
    • Deliver the curriculum as relevant to the age and ability group/subject/s that you teach
    • Manage classes effectively, using approaches which are appropriate to pupils’ needs in order to inspire, motivate and challenge pupils
    • Participate in any relevant meetings/professional development opportunities at the school, which relate to the learners, curriculum or organisation of the school including pastoral arrangements and assemblies
    • Work collaboratively with others to develop effective professional relationships
    • Register the attendance of and supervise learners, before, during or after school sessions as appropriate

    What are we looking for?
    • Qualified to bachelor’s degree level in relevant subject or allied subject
    • QTS Qualified
    • Able to self-start, work independently and collaboratively as part of a team- whether led or leading
    • Shows initiative and takes personal responsibility for their own actions with the motivation to work very hard, embrace any activity that is in the interests of protecting and education children and to continually raise standards. Can initiate, complete and finish; be effectively strategic and where appropriate, innovative
    • Excellent organisational skills and ability to delegate
