  • Please note: This post is offered on a part-time basis (4 hours per week) and is fixed-term until April 2027

    We are looking to appoint a committed Teacher of Yoga to deliver high-quality lessons at Krishna Avanti Primary School, Croydon.

    The successful candidate will support pupils’ wellbeing and personal development through carefully planned, structured and inclusive yoga sessions that are accessible to all.

    You will play a key role in promoting focus, balance and self-awareness, contributing to a calm and positive learning environment across the school.

    You will join a collaborative and supportive staff team dedicated to high standards, continuous improvement and positive outcomes for every pupil.

    This role is well suited to someone who values both academic progress and holistic education, and who is keen to contribute to the wider ethos and life of the school.

    What will you do?
    • Plan and deliver high-quality yoga lessons that support the progress, wellbeing and engagement of all pupils.
    • Create a safe, respectful and inclusive learning environment, maintaining high expectations of behaviour and conduct.
    • Assess, monitor and support pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet a range of abilities and needs.
    • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and the wider school community to support pupils’ development.
    • Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and contribute positively to the ethos and values of the school.

    • Qualified to bachelor’s degree level in relevant or allied subject 
    • QTS qualified
