In this role, you will be responsible for delivering an engaging and ambitious Food Technology curriculum that enables all pupils to achieve their full potential. With a strong focus on high-quality teaching, you will plan and deliver lessons that build on prior knowledge, challenge learners of all abilities and develop practical cooking skills alongside a secure understanding of nutrition, food science and healthy living. You will use assessment effectively to track progress, provide meaningful feedback and ensure every pupil is supported to succeed.
Beyond the classroom, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, purposeful and well-managed practical environment, where high standards of hygiene, safety and organisation are embedded. Positive relationships and mutual respect will underpin behaviour and achievement. Working collaboratively with colleagues, families and the wider school community, you will contribute to a culture of excellence, inclusion and continuous improvement. - Participate in any relevant meetings/professional development opportunities at the school, which relate to the learners, curriculum or organisation of the school including pastoral arrangements and assemblies
