Grade: Grade 3, £26,435 - £27,588 per annum, pro rata. Approximately £12,121 - £12,649 per annum (0.45851 FTE)
Krishna Avanti Primary School is seeking a highly organised and committed Administrative Assistant to join our dedicated and welcoming team. This is a varied and rewarding role, supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school through high-quality administrative, organisational and financial support.
The role will also involve providing administrative support to the SENDCo, contributing to the effective coordination of provision for pupils with additional needs.As a key member of our front office, you will often be the first point of contact for pupils, families and visitors, helping to create a positive and inclusive environment for our whole school community.
The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining efficient systems, supporting staff, and ensuring that school operations run effectively.We are looking for someone who is proactive, approachable and able to manage competing priorities with professionalism and care.
A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is essential, along with a willingness to contribute to the school’s ethos and values.

What will you do?
- Provide high-level administrative, clerical and financial support, including managing complex procedures, records, and reporting requirements.
- Oversee front-of-house operations and coordinate school activities such as trips, events, and visitor management.
- Maintain and develop efficient systems, resources, and ICT processes, including stock control, website updates, and facilities administration.
- Support staff and leadership through data analysis, communication with external agencies, and supervision or training where appropriate.
- Promote and safeguard the welfare of children by adhering to safeguarding, health and safety, and school policies at all times.
