About our School

Avanti Park School is a beautiful primary and middle school (Reception – Year 8) in the heart of Frome, neighbouring Victoria Park. Our school is graded as good with outstanding in behaviour and attitudes, leadership and management, and personal development.

Avanti Park is a non-faith, community school that embraces inclusion and diversity. Staff find Avanti Park to be a wonderful place to work, with warm, friendly relationships underpinning a calm and joyful atmosphere, (OFSTED).

Our staff are inspired and passionate about their roles, the vision of the school, and providing the most fulfilling learning experience for pupils. Learning is a quest to discover each student’s unique gifts and potential, and to lay the foundation for their lifelong journey of learning

“When I stepped into Avanti Park, the first thing I noticed was that they don’t just talk about valuing the whole child. It’s evidenced by discussions around spirituality within lessons and PSHE, its lived through assemblies, conversations with children and yoga lessons that help children focus on what’s important to them. All of this tied together showed me it’s not just a sound bite that we care about the whole child; it’s about giving them the tools to embody that daily,” - Simon Goldsworthy, Key Stage 2 Lead.
